Brian and Gonzo came to us for help getting a building permit for construction of their cigar lounge and retail space. Because of the exhaust and fresh air requirements for a cigar lounge and their desire to create a more open-concept space by removing columns, we helped them coordinate with mechanical and structural engineers. To address zoning concerns about the rooftop mechanical equipment becoming an eyesore, we placed a mechanical screen around it, and presented 3D renderings of the project from street view.
