1976 Kinney

1976 Kinney was a renovation of an existing 2-bedroom, 1-bath home into a 3-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath home. We created an open concept first floor, added new bedroom closets and skylights to brighten the second floor, and we waterproofed and finished the basement to include a bedroom suite, full bath, and laundry. Since this was a house we purchased and renovated ourselves, we were able to select all the finishes. We went with a gold, silver, black, and gray color scheme with a subtle 'X' motif throughout. Our favorite material selections are the beautiful butcher block kitchen island, the leather-textured, matte granite kitchen counters, and the sputnik-style light fixture in the dining room.
