After returning home from a sabbatical in Morocco, our client wanted to live a simple, uncluttered life in a house that encompassed her passions: nature, travel, and painting. While the exterior of the home pays homage to the surrounding neighborhood, the interior is an open, double-height living space. A large wall of windows provides an unencumbered view to her small private backyard gardens. High ceilings provide a gallery wall to allow her to display paintings, textiles, and photos from her travels. The house also features a large wrap-around porch area to visit with neighbors and friends, a lofted bedroom, and a Moroccan-inspired bathroom.
